The beauty of a jotter pad is that you never have to wait to record your thoughts and ideas. It slips right out of your breast pocket or inside jacket pocket and with a trusty ballpoint you record your flash of genius. Certainly, it is faster than fiddling with your digital voice recorder or Palm.
The jotter pad has been around forever and they have not changed because they are perfect as is no need for improvement. Simple and truly user friendly (something that many of today’s gadgets are not). The best are still classic black leather with a supply of index card weight paper. Any color will do and the best part is that it slips unseen in your pocket without ruining your tailored suit with an unseemly bulge like many PDAs.
